Upcoming Worship Schedule
May 17 through June 7 - Continue Zoom worship. No changes.
June 14 - “Take Home” worship service Pastor Andrew will send his sermon by mail, along with a bulletin; everyone worships at home. This will be Andrew’s final service at Hopkins/South Monterey.
June 21 - TBD will lead this worship service.
Plan A: In-person worship service at 10am at Common Ground. Those who cannot attend use mailed sermon/bulletin for “Take Home” worship.
Plan B: If weather/public health guidance prevent gathering in-person,
everyone will have a “Take Home” service with the materials provided.
June 28 - Linda Burton-Collier will lead this worship service.
Plan A: In-person worship service at 10am at Common Ground. Those who cannot attend use mailed sermon/bulletin for “Take Home” worship.
Plan B: If weather/public health guidance prevent gathering in-person,
everyone will have a “Take Home” service with the materials provided.
Regardless of whether worship is in person or “take home”, Zoom Coffee Fellowship will continue Sundays at 11:30am on June 14, 21, and 28.

Annual Conference To Meet Virtually
The 2020 Michigan Annual Conference will not meet in person. Instead, Michigan Methodists will use online platforms and telephone conference calls to allow all members to participate. Annual Conference 2020 will begin with a virtual opening worship service on Sunday, July 26, 7:00 PM EDT – 8:30 PM EDT, which will also include a time of memorial. On Monday, July 27, there will be two virtual plenary sessions to consider essential business, 9:30 AM EDT to 12:30 PM EDT, and again from 1:30 PM EDT to 4:30 PM EDT. On Tuesday, July 28, Clergy Session will be held virtually from 9:30 AM EDT to 12:30 PM EDT. The virtual Annual Conference will conclude on Wednesday, July 29, with a live stream of the Service of Recognition, Commissioning and Ordination from 7:00 PM EDT to 8:30 PM EDT. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
